Misty Shepler joined our predecessor firm in early 2008 as receptionist and is currently serving as Ron Weber’s legal assistant.
Misty also handles our construction payouts and works on other major projects in the office.
Sandy Horn had been working as John Potter’s legal assistant for many years. Sandy now manages the real estate work out of the Farmington office,
prepares federal and state income taxes, is the primary receptionist in that office and assists Nancy Schell with her work as well.
Mary Kinzer also works out of the Farmington office, primarily as assistant to Nancy Schell. She manages our collections and foreclosure
work, divorce and family law matters and other civil matters. Mary is also very competent in real estate and assists with title work and closings as well.
Cindi Nichols is our primary real estate assistant in our Canton office, conducting lien searches, preparing title commitments and title policies,
working closely with realtors, lenders, buyers, sellers and borrowers, for which she puts to full use her easy-going friendly personality.
Judy Organiscak now works part-time as a legal assistant, preparing a variety of legal documents for all of our attorneys, primarily estate planning documents,
probate, family law and other civil litigation pleadings.
Amanda Atwater has been a legal assistant for almost 20 years at another firm before joining our firm in October 2014. She assists with the real estate in
our Canton office, conducting lien searches, preparing title commitments and title policies, working closely with realtors, lenders, buyers and sellers. She
also prepares estate planning documents and probate documents.
Alex Rives joined our firm in June of 2013 after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she majored in Political Science and Communication.
She is a receptionist for our Canton office and also handles our collection matters, manages corporate client accounts, and assists in other projects for each attorney when needed.
