Ralph Froehling attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and obtained
his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1952. He served in the
United States Army prior to attending law school. Upon graduation from the U of
I College of Law, he was an associate in a small firm in Chicago. He joined our
firm, then Chipperfield and Chipperfield, in 1956.
Ralph serves on the Parlin-Ingersoll Library Board and is a member of the American
Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Fulton County Bar Association.
He is a general practitioner and currently focuses his practice in the areas of
estate planning, preparation of wills and trusts, and probate.

Ron Weber attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and obtained his
J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in 1973. He began practicing
law with our firm after law school when the firm was Froehling & Taylor.
Ron is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, the Illinois State Bar
Association and the Fulton County Bar Association. He is a general practitioner
and currently focuses his practice in the areas of banking, real estate, preparation
of wills and trusts.
Ron is very active in our community, serves on the Graham Hospital Board and is
a member of the Kiwanis Club of Canton.

Nancy Schell attended Illinois State University and obtained her J.D. from the University
of Cincinnati College of Law in 1994. She began practicing law in Cincinnati and
later moved to Fulton County, Illinois. Nancy joined our firm in the summer of 2003.
Nancy is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Fulton County Bar
Association. She is a general practitioner and currently focuses her practice on
transactional and corporate law, contracts, real estate, estate planning, wills and trusts, probate,
civil litigation and appeals.
Nancy serves as a Board member of the Fulton County Health Department and is a member
of the Farmington Rotary Club and the Piecers of the Heartland (Canton) and Gems
(Peoria) Quilt Guilds.

Nathan Ihnes attended the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and obtained
his J.D. from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2005. He began practicing
in Canton and joined our firm in the summer of 2007.
Nathan serves as a Board member of the Spoon River Economic Development Committee
and is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association
and Fulton County Bar Association. His areas of practice include labor and employment
law, contracts and civil litigation.

Of Counsel
Gene Taylor received his J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law in
1958. He joined our firm in 1962, has served on numerous committees of the Illinois
State Bar Association and was a charter member of the Academy of Hospital Attorneys.
Gene served as resident Circuit Judge of the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Fulton County
from 1999 through 2006. He is currently Of Counsel to our firm and focuses his practice
on estate planning, probate and trusts.
